Background
This is part of the awareness rsising conducted by Udayana University and WWF Indonesia to mobilize local support for turtle conservation. Lucy was captured and injured accidentally by a local fisherman several days earlier in water near Peti Tenget (Kuta) - Bali. She was brought to the turtle education centre of Bali for rehabilitation. She has a metal tag (ID4303) indicating that she has been using the Alas Purwo (East Java) nesting site. Her CCL and CCW were 69 and 64 cm, respectively.
