Background
This bald eagle is a breeding adult eagle and full time resident of the Chesapeake Bay region. We captured this eagle using a noosed floating fish which safely snares the eagle by the foot. After fitting the eagle with a solar powered GPS transmitter, we released her on the shoreline of the Bay.
