Elaine - Rocky Mountain Adult Golden Eagle Project

"Elaine" is an adult female Golden Eagle captured on October 21, 2010 at our fall raptor migration research and banding station in west-central Montana. She wintered in Paradise Valley, just north of Yellowstone National Park. Currently (spring 2011), Elaine is migrating north back to her summer range. It will be very interesting to see where she ends up. More to come...
