Background

This turtle was captured on a Uruguayan pelagic longline vessel operating in the SW Atlantic within Uruguayan waters. Natalia was hooked in the beak. A PNOFA scientific observer removed the hook and released her in good condition. Natalia was named after a fisherman's daughter and measured 64 cm CCL x 64 cm CCW.
