Background
Regab is named after a Gabonese beverage. Regab was the second leatherback turtle to be tagged during the 2008 expedition and was 145 cm in length (curved length) and 105 cm in width (curved width). She was tagged with a Kiwisat 202 platform terminal transmitter (PTT) specially designed by SirTrack for attachment to leatherback sea turtles. After satellite tagging she was given rear flipper tags. On the left ASF 14460 and the right ASF 14461.
