Background

Anne is likely new to nesting this year – she is a small turtle and had no previous tags or apparent tag scars when first spotted June 18, 2010 on Keewaydin. After successfully nesting on the island that night she traveled north and seems to have nested near Fort Myers Beach at the beginning of July. Keep an eye on her satellite tracks…she may still be trying to decide where her favorite nesting spot is! It appears that Anne's nesting efforts remained focused in the Fort Myers Beach area as she was not seen again on Keewaydin after she was satellite tagged on June 18.
